Contract for Deed and the $8,000.00 tax credit 2 Years, 6 Months ago
I'm curious to know if anyone has successfully used a Contract for Deed combined with the $8,000.00 First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit and filed an amended tax return to finance the sale of a rental property to one of their tenants. I have a situation where this may work for my tenant and I want to avoid the pitfalls if possible.
